Tony Germinario

(Writer/Director/Producer)

Tony began his creative career in the music industry as the bassist and songwriter for the band Jel.  He turned from writing songs to writing screenplays, and has been writing scripts for over a decade but finally stepped behind the camera to direct with the release in 2017 of BAD FRANK starring Tom Sizemore, Boxing Champ Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, and Brian O’Halloran (CLERKS).  The film experienced great success at domestic and international festivals, winning more than 20 different awards including several Best Film and Best Director laurels.  The film is represented by Gravitas Ventures domestically and Lotus Entertainment internationally. “Wingman, Inc.”, a film which he wrote starring Kristopher Turner, Erin Cahill, and Reid Ewing, was released by Lion’s Gate in 2015.  

Zach Shinske

(Creator/Actor/Producer)

Zach is a native of Florham Park, New Jersey. He graduated from The George Washington University in Washington DC with a degree in Psychology and Theatre. He continued his studies in the Hagen Core Training Program at HB Studio. He made is Off-Broadway debut in Theresa Rebeck's "Spike Heels," and most recently appeared in Theatre 68's production of "Aloha, Say the Pretty Girls." He wrote "Such is Life" based on his experiences growing up as an adoptee and hopes that this show paints a full picture of those experiences.

Monica Gronchi

(Actress/Producer/Writer)

Monica is an Italian - Panamanian born and raised actress. In 2016 she graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she trained for two years in their conservatory program. She graduated summa cum laude from Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts at The New School with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a minor in Screenwriting in May 2018. Monica is thrilled to be part of Such Is Life and excited to share this special story through her acting and writing.

 

Catherine Hogan

(Producer)

Catherine Hogan is an actor and producer who has appeared in more than 30 films, short films, commercials, web series, and industrials.  Catherine executive-produced In Between Days and has been associate producer on short films.  She recently directed her first short film, Potshot. Catherine is also an attorney with 17 years of securities experience, so she is the go-to producer for contracts, insurance, SAG-AFTRA documentation, film financing, releases, and all the other paperwork that filmmakers don’t want to do!

Alyssa Watson

(Producer)

Alyssa joins the Such is Life team from the world of corporate finance and is thrilled to be able to balance her skill in financial management with her background in performing arts. Alyssa holds degrees in Finance from both the University of Florida and Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management as well as a degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. She also studied opera as a coloratura soprano under the late Noelle Rogers Van Etten. 

Joanna Pinto

(Actress/Producer/Writer)

Joanna grew up in Greenwich, CT. She graduated from Catholic University of America in Washington DC with a BA in Theater. She then went on to study Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She continued her studies in the Hagen Core Training Program at HB Studio and made her Off-Broadway debut as Georgie in a production of Spike Heels by Theresa Rebeck. She also played Roxie Hulbert in an episode of “Grave Secrets” for Investigation Discovery, the episode’s title being The Last Time They Saw Her. She is a co-writer and co-producer of Such is Life and is honored to be part of such a wonderful story.

 

Stacey Shinske

(Producer)

This is Stacey’s first introduction into producing. Despite a busy schedule working full-time in advertising, involvement in this production came from a personal perspective. As an adoptive parent this story reflects many of the challenges her family encountered throughout the years. When on set, Stacey gets to pursue another passion – catering!

 

Marie Dinolan

(Actress/Producer)

Marie is a half Filipino half British-Chinese actress based in NYC. She left a thriving career as a TV show host and VJ in the Philippines to pursue classical training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has since been working in theater, TV & Film, commercial and print in the United States. She is not only thrilled to be playing Erika Reynolds in Such is Life but over the moon to be on board as a co-producer as well.
